Like I said the sure fire stuff is the PPU late 1970s stuff and you see a picture of 1979 headstamps of the M49 stuff. But this was $1.75 per box. WebDec 3, 2009 · AKBLUE. Aside from the obvious tip color ID.., the shape of the projectile is one method to distinguish a tracer from ball ammo round. Another is to pull the projectile.., a steel core will be a boattail and the tracer will have a recessed area of compound for the tracing and not a boattail. In Chinese arsenal 711 is a common tracer.

WebRigging ammo to blow is a great way to never sell another round ever again. I’ve never seen commercial Chinese 7.62x39 be corrosive (7.62x54R is a different story). It’s possible for any round to be over pressured.
