WebDec 1, 2024 · The biogas digester was built at the University of Ibadan Dairy Farm Abadina, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. The dairy farm has over 50 cows and 10 goats. The digester was built as a pilot case for the production of biogas to meet the energy demands of the dairy farm as well as for research purposes. Weboperating temperature, a batch digester will slowly start producing biogas and increase the production with time and then drop-off after 4 to 8 weeks.
