The ball is hit diagonally into the service box on the other side of the net, on the opposite side of the center mark from which the server is serving. And remember, you’re not allowed to step on or over the baseline before hitting the ball. WebTo hit a good flat serve you need to have good pronation. Pronation is basically the rotation of the hands and forearms so that the palms face downward. Pronation is generally described as ‘snapping the wrist’. I like to say “snap the forearm” because that’s the more accurate term. Don’t worry pronation isn’t all that hard.
