The instructions say to hook to tack up to the GREY wire (signal output is 12 volt square wave, 20 degree duty cycle), but my tach is stock and I thought that it works off the negative terminal of the coil. All of the wiring is brand new, and the coil is brand new. Replaced the resister wire for the ignition circuit so coil gets full 12v. Car never ran right, always a miss somewhere.
