Webb23 juli 2024 · I will begin by outlining the metaethical theory of emotivism, the motivations for adopting it and its weaknesses. I then describe how more sophisticated expressivist theories can overcome these weaknesses, while still making sound analysis on the core motivations for adopting emotivism.
